Uh, yeah.... The answer would be NO WAY!!

My moratorium is to stop starting things I probably won't finish. And I know for sure I wouldn't finish an eleven month fabric-buying moratorium!

The good thing about not having been on one is that I can (and do) pull from my stash entire quilts! I'd never be able to do that if I hadn't continued to do my part, here and there, to stimulate the economy.

I'm not into clothes, shoes, very little alcohol, usually perfer my cooking to eating out - so, this is my thrill.

I started this a few months ago and I can say, I am down to one shoe box left of fabric! Can you believe it? I have 2 projects cut and ready for assemble and the rest will be made into a small scrap quilt!

You make her a beautiful quilt using some of the prettiest fabrics to put on her bed and brighten her day. She will be thrilled.

Sorry, I was referring to the post from ljordan1029 about the mentor who gave away her stash when she went to an assisted living facility.

I'm sure I could make it that long....unless I find steal of a deal onfabrics. That's my only downfall. I'm already trying to downsize on the fabric I do have(so it will all fit in my hopefully going to be finished sometime soon room). I have such a stash built up that I don't really buy that much now anyways. I think I could do it.

NOT ME....I always see something that we "NEED"...lol. I try to stay away from fabic stores at times but there is always a sale or wim to add to your stash...I just purchased some yardage yesterday to add to some fabic for an oriental quilt...I've had the fabric that would go with it for 10 yrs now BUT I had to have it...lol...not gonna join in on something that I know I couldn't do. BUT I hope you have fun

I can't do that but I will make a resolution that I will use at least one piece of my stash in each quilt this year.
