    BevF,
It looks like your WIP's will be pretty. I am intriqued by the baby quilt with the hot air balloons.

I love the paper pieces balloons w/ the bears. Where did you get the pattern?

I've slipped up a few times. But nothing compared to way I would buy fabric previously. I am almost ready to put a binding on a charm square quilt-using 7 of the ten packages of Wrapped in Paisley that I bought last year. I'm also taking a mystery quilt class this Friday and am using fabric from my stash. I'm doing the Farmer's Wife quilt along on this board, and using fabric from my stash. I have to admist, it feels really good.

I just got back from my LQS (had to snowmobile for part of the trip) I stuck to my list to complete some projects, nothing to start new ones. I did have to leave the fabric in my vehicle, it won't come home until I can drive back to my house. Since everything was 40% it was worth the trip.

I've completed some WIP's. Everything to complete them came out of my stash.
    They are at:

Marie, The pattern is called "Balloon Bears" by Spring Creek NeedleArt. I bought it through Clotilde a while back. It says it's easy enough for a beginner, but I question if I would put one up to it. It took me roughly 6 hours to piece one balloon. (Maybe I don't know what I'm doing.)

I just laid the template over the bear. I'm going to put some batting behind the balloon for dimension.

Bev F. Thanks, I'll see if I can find the pattern. I don't have a baby to make one for but it is so cute I may make it just to have on hand...a baby has to come along sooner or later for somebody I know. Fortunately I'm too old for that.

Still working on a UFO. No fabric bought in Jan. Had a hard time in Feb as we were in Florida & went to Joannes. Thank goodness we were off to Universal Studios so I knew I would not have the room to take any any back with me.

Needed to get batting for 6 - 8 baby quilts, backing for 2 baby quilts and 6 spools of thread this last week. I did resist getting more fabric other than what I needed. Batting and backing was on sale. Even at that I spent $50. I found a fabric I really liked but refrained. Don't need it right now.

I bought five yards of muslin today to use as quilt backing today. I'm thinking I can get my husband's birthday quilt done and a wall hanging done before I need to get more.
