Thereafter, when you spread your paint, it glides over the fabric with minimal drag. The aloe vera also inhibits bleeding--not as thoroughly as a "No Flow", but pretty doggone well! This especially useful when painting a large background area with multiple colors. Cheers!
Thank you. The aloe Vera suggestion sounds just like what I'm going to
need to use, as I'm wanting to paint one of the blocks with the sky as space with a blended nebula.

The only paints I've found in my town are the Pebeo setacolor, although the range was limited so I'm definitely going to have to be mixing them and ordering online as I progress.

I painted the sky and water with a mixture of Pebeo setacolor, tsukineko ink and water in a spray bottle. Works great.

Gulp! Wow! Those are wonderful. Thanks for posting.

I've definitely got some good paints, then? Am I seeing right that you've also got some appliqué on there too?

Mostly I do skies and other backgrounds for the applique. Sometimes I spray fabrics with color so they all go together better instead of tea dyed, I spray paint!

I thought I saw on one of the QUILT ARTS SHOW - where they used oil paint sticks to color & shade fabric.
