    Oh I feel for you, how disappointing. Maybe post your pictures, and I'm sure you will get lots of help and good advice from the experienced quilters on this board.

    Thanks for posting your pictures, and perhaps someone else will present you with other solutions. Those are very pretty pieces of material. You did manage to salvage them quite nicely, so not all is lost.

    I see why you are so disappointed, and if it is really important that you utilize these squares, you should consider the solution that Dunster from Oregon has provided you, in her previous message. This may be a great solution for you. Those squares look like they need a little help at this point, and the muslin/sashings suggestion would give them back some body, and could make this work for you, and therefore, still be able to use them in your project. I agree with Dunster as well.

    Keep your chin up...I'm sure your Mom also feels badly for you, this is a learning experience for you. I for one, would love to see your finished project. Best of Luck!
