they are beautiful fabrics. The AH site says they're decorator weight so they'd make a heavier quilt and the other site seems to have everything from voile (too lightweight for my quilts but great for summer dresses) to rayon to cotton. Haven't ordered from them but looks like they might have some cotton that is good weight for quilts...just have to pay attention to the description.

www.ahfabrics.com is Alexander Henry's site. I think that they only sold wholesale to the trade. At least, that's what their site indicates.
Their fabric is wonderful... but it is not decorator weight. It's what I'd call "beefy", meaning that like Michael Miller and Timeless Treasures, it's printed on cotton that's a little heavier than other brands.
I suppose that they might do a run of fabric on a different weight, if it's commissioned by a manufacturer. But as far as I know, what's on the retail market is all cotton quilting fabrics.

I've never heard of keywest fashions, but that doesn't mean they're not a good vendor, just that they're unknown to me.

the keywest fabric shown is $16.00 py. i personally wouldn't spend that much.
(ooops!)
judging from the width of the keywest fabric (56-58") that is probably home dec also. is that what you're looking for?

about 20 years ago, we visited key west and there was a tiny fabric printing factory. i bought a second there and still haven't done anything with it it's also exotic animals in bright colors and wide width. i wonder if it's the same place. it was a dumpy little place on a side street. it's so scary i should send it to chele. LOL!
