My husband and I just returned from a trip to Lancaster. There are so many quilt shops; however, we found one that we did not know existed and were very pleased with the fabric selections. It is easy to get to by taking 501 N off Rt. 30. The name of the fabric store is Weavers. If you want to know more details, please "board me."

Oh I've been there. Isn't it a fun little place? Bought a kit there about 5 years ago. Still run by the Amish folks?

Weavers is one of my very favorite places to shop in the Lancaster area. I have been there many times. It does tend to be a little out of the way but I love going there. Marge

Yes, there were two Amish girls working the registers. It is not such a huge place, but they seem to have a good supply of fabric and also good brands and prices. I already have washed my fabric and am getting ready to iron it. I noticed on some posts that several ladies wash AND starch their fabric. I guess it does put the sizing back in when you spray starch it. What do you gals do? I have a friend who never washes her fabric and gets the "older" look to the quilt after she washes her completed project.
