the fabric is too cute to cut up!

I love the fabric too. I need to make a baby quilt for a baby in our family to arrive in June so I think those fabrics would be perfect for the new baby. Thanks for sharing. Like you though deciding on a pattern will be as difficult as cutting that pretty fabric.

For the Bicycles: cut on the Diagonal to make Diamond shape, then add triangles to all 4 corners, to make Diamond in a Square. Or, sacrifice one row of bicycle, to cut long Lasagna Strips, to use as long horizontal rows in a quilt. I had a baby bear print, that was impossible to cut, except on the Diagonal, but my "diamonds" were too small, so I enlarged them by adding a fabric in the same shade of blue. It worked so well for me, I think you will like the result.

That is cute fabric but it is intended to be cute and be even more appealing. You could fussy cut squares and put them into all sorts of configurations such as frames, attic windows-anything that would frame them. The complementary fabrics you have will do that beautifully. Have fun making a quilt for several people to enjoy. If you don't cut it and use it you will be the only person to enjoy it.
