I bought Fairfield the last time it was on sale at JoAnn's and it has ok. I have used in quilts and table runners and it has been fine. No long arm here. Just quilted on my Bernina.
I played with packaged batting at Hobby Lobby today and the Fairfield felt stiff. I purchased Hobbs Polydown and even it isn't as soft as some I bought from Connecting Threads several years ago.
