I have some hatpins I have collected to put in a couple of antique hat pin holders. I think they are longer than a corsage pin.

Me, I'd stick the sharp ends in a cork, or nestle them in tissue paper inside a plastic travel soap box.

You could always exchange the brooch pins, they look great as a pc decoration. And of course you must wrap the pins safely.
I just took it for granted that they would be.

I have a pretty pin, not for sewing, stuck in a pc. Makes it nice.
i just bought a jewelish button an making a black velvet pn with the button, whitr rhinestones and silvertone metal.
