I have one of these started and it has been started for years, I sure wish I could make myself finish it. They are so beautiful.

If made in the 60's it would definitely qualify as vintage. Vintage is an object that is over 50 years old. It becomes antique if it goes over 100 years old. Enjoy your vintage quilt!!

Thanks to everyone for you words of wisdom, helpful tips, and links! I am learning so much. I don't know if I will ever have the patience to make one by hand...but if one of these patterns/tutorials shows how to make one completely by machine, I'm in! Beautiful...and vintage. =)
