Janome makes one of those for the 6600, maybe it fits others also. Going to get one by fall. Pricey though.
Wouldn't want one of those quilts that are just thrown on that dirty floor. eewwwwwww

I used to work in a sewing factory,we had those binders on some of our machines. I have one on mine. And if you did that 5 days a week, 8hours a day,you could sew that fast too!! I got paid .25 cents a coat ( we made suit coats ) and I could do 400 coats a day, but I sewed the sleeve linings in,and that is all I did, day in and day out, every day, for 20 years.

Did you notice the men standing there only while the women were working?

I like the information shared. But...the sweat shops in different countries take work away from the US workers. I am trying not to buy anything made outside the USA.

Sure looks like a sweat shop!!! Way too many bosses hanging around. Wonder if they charge people to watch. Love the binding thingy.

I'll bet these are those "handmade" quilts you get in bed-in-a-bag, etc. I'll take my slow pace any day!

When I worked for AALF'S, a jean manufature, I had to sew like that. It is not that much fun to have to do it every day. I like quilting that I do now much better. Except the binding part. Wish I had one of those things.
