    Default fat quarter quilt suggestions???

I am working at using up stash, but am ending up with a lot of pieces that are fat quarter size or close, so I am wondering if anyone can suggest a book or patterns that use fat quarters. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I look online, but know that getting the names of quilts from those who have made them, is even better. Thanks for any help.

I like the Turning Twenty series of patterns.

I like Bailey's Quilt and I think it's very versatile - you can make several sizes by just adding more FQ's.

I like Eleanor Burns "Hole in the Wall" She has a video on her website showing this. I think you could make it without ordering the pattern just by watching the video. It's a modern type pattern.

Try googling 'quilts made with fat quarters' and then click on the images tab at the top of the page. Lots of possibilities come up, and you can choose ones to your liking. I have made a simple fat quarter quilt called 'Cheaper by the Dozen' (using 12 fat quarters), and there is 'Crazy 8s', which uses 8, which I haven't tried yet.

My favorite book for making fat quarter quilts is called "Laps From Fats". There is a whole series of these books I think - Laps From Fats 2, Laps From Fats For Friends & Family, etc.

There are so many magazines that have patterns for scrappy quilts now -- They are some of my favorite quilts. Be sure to let us know what you decide to do.

I have been addicted to buying fat quarters, so I decided to make a couple of scrappy quilts to donate. I love love scrap quilts and they take me out of my comfort zone (slightly OCD).

I am working on a quilt from this book:

    http://www.amazon.com/Fat-Quarter-Fr...ns+fat+quarter

It is inexpensive on Amazon and there are some great quilts in it.
