The idea of a quilt reminds me of the "Game of Life" that I used to play as a child (not "Candyland"!!). There is probably some kind of game board type of quilt out there that I could work my way through with sufficient pieces (otherwise I'll be doing a 2" square to keep the size down!).
How about the puzzle quilt that is used to symbolize autism? When it comes to losing weight, I find that I am one big puzzle. I've lost 20 pounds several times and am puzzled when I realize that it's all come back and I need to lose it again. I really need to lose 30 pounds right now. I think I will try that disappearing 4-patch that's been shown on the board lately. OR maybe......I'll start a puzzle quilt.

Friday is my weigh in day and got great news. I lost 1.2 which makes me down 10.2 lbs. CELEBRATE!! I have 40 more to go but I WILL make it!!!
I love this post. I still need to figure out what I am going to make.
I am thinking about the idea of using yoyo's as flowers but need a pattern with a large vase with flowers coming out???
I will put on my thinking cap. Any ideas??

Congrats! Friday is my weigh in day also and am down 2 pounds. I love this post. together we can do it. I am doing a block per 5 pounds so I am thinking and hoping next weekend will be sewing a block. I was in a block swap that fizzled but a red print was the main fabric in that so I am thinking I will use that for my main fabric and make a sampler type quilt. Help me to practice. I will have to see how many blocks I have from that. I will use them to represent the weight I have lost so far.
