Well, I congratulate all of you losers! You have been doing good!

I'm trying to decide what block to make. There are so many to choose from. I'd like to sew blocks with meaning in the name. I guess I won't pick Milky Way or Sugar Bowl, but maybe Pineapple? I like the idea of Hourglass, Peace and Plenty and Crosses and Losses too.

I have lost 42 lbs and have a bunch more to lose, so the blocks need to be small or I will be covering the whole house with the finished quilt. I'd like to start soon since I already have 42 blocks to catch up with! Of course, no one says I can't make TWO quilts....

Congrats Nana and Grannie! Awesome weight loss! You have some sewing to do this weekend. ;) I want to see more quilt blocks!

Donna, 42 blocks! Wow! Your quilt is going to be amazing. Get sewing, woman! ;)

I will be thrilled if I lose a pound next week when I weigh myself. I want to get started on my blocks! lol

I started my quilt today. Lost 30 lbs for DS wedding. More to go! Loving this idea and I will FINALLY have my own quilt, just for me! I am making 4 inch scrappy blocks to make my stash lose weight too.

I might do a sampler then I could incorporate which ever ones symbolize my efforts at that time. Also saw a 1.5 inch patch swap. Those of us with lots to lose might do something like a stamp quilt with the 1 inch patch for each pound. I think I want blocks myself though.

You guys are great. I have lost 35 pounds over the past 10 months and still have 20 more to go. I would love to do this with you. I love to work in my garden so maybe a pp flower block for each 5 # I have already lost and a sampler block for each pound I lose from now on.They could be scrappy so I could use some bits and pieces. Just thinking out loud. This should keep my mind off food while I work this design idea. hummmm
You have all given me so many good ideas. Maybe use the FW blocks, I have the book. This is going to be a lot of fun.

Here's the first block of my fluffy quilt. The print is from a Moda layer cake called "Happy" so each block will be different. I wanted something bright and I think I got it!
