Oh man that s**ks, if I had a nickel for every kid who threw away a retainer I could buy a fabric store! When I tutored at my son's elementary school I don't think a day went by that some one didn't have to look through the lunch room trash. Glad that wasn't my job! Sending you (((HUGS)))

Made DD go with the neighbor boy and find her trash but the retainer wasn't there. The neighbor boy lives for the chance to go dumpster diving. He is 6 and so cute, a total country boy. Love to listen to him talk.

My oldest son left his retainer in a Pizza Hut 2 days after getting it! I made him go back and ask to dig through the garbage. Lucky for him somemone had spotted it before it landed in the trash and it was sitting there waiting to be claimed. Kids, gotta love em. It all gets better with time and the stories even get funny, but not for a loong time! Sorry you are having a tough time cjomomma.

I didn't weigh myself on Sunday like I normally do so I will do it tomorrow. I think I lost something this week. I was going to use a panel for the lbs I had lost before we started. Gwyn offered me one but then remembered it was promised to someone else. She will replace it but I have to wait becuse I don't remember what it looks like. I saw a panel with the Serenity Prayer I was thinking maybe I should get that and use that as my center. JUST THINKING OUT LOUD.

Carrie I hope the fabric I sent arrives today. If you don't have enough with notions why don't you make the center block with that and 2 other fabric for the other pieces this way each will have some notion fabric until you are able to get more. I wish I had more to send you.

Good job scrappylouisa. Just think of the size quilt we could make all together. We could keep the whole town cozy!

Here are my blocks so far. I went back and made one for the 34 lbs that I have lost already and now I need to make a couple more. They are 4 inch blocks and it is fun playing with them. All scraps so that pile can shrink too. It's going to be my own TV throw so I can stay toasty! And it is going to remind me that I am through with my fluffy stage.
