Way to go Quilting Nana, what a neat idea for a quilt. At the rate my weight loss is going I'm going to have a potholder.

That's OK CJ there will be weeks that you will not lose but keep going you can do it.

LOL! That makes two of us! Since I have so much to lose, I decided to do a block for every 5 lbs. Maybe I should add a piece to the block for every lb. lost. At least then I'd be able to work on it a little!

ROTFLMBO!!!! I may have to make more than 1 quilt.
Friday is weigh in day for me. This week down 1.2 that makes a total of 10.4.
I have decided to do a quilt with leaves on it. Since I have 40-50 pounds to lose I plan on making this quilt with leaves falling over the quilt.
I am going to try to find my leaf pattern tomorrow.
Great job! Would love to see the blocks. I think leaves is a great idea!

I'm getting my workout this morning. I'm doing extreme house cleaning. Wish me luck that the fabric's don't start calling my name or the kids.

I am spending the day doing yard/outside work. Taking the dock in, racking leaves, etc. Hopefully I am burning some calories since we are going out for supper tonight! just had lunch, a sandwich and some raw veggies. Husband had chips but I resisted. YAY for 1 small effort.

I think that is a cool idea. I am only going to do 1 block for each 5# but this idea would give me more incentive. No loss this week, but was laid pretty much up all week with a bad knee, so I set and ate, but at least I didn't gain. On to next week.
