lol, I don't think so. If we did, some of us would never have a quilt!

I've been SWAMPED with homework so I haven't been on much lately. The further we get into the term, the more homework we have. Finals week is in four weeks so I'll be glad to have a short vacation after that. Been doing HORRIBLY with my weight loss. Still feeling depressed and I'm just not sure how to pull myself out of that.

    *hugs* to you all!
I am with you in the homework, it seems like I sit at the desk doing homework so many hours a day that some days I am so stiff it is hard to get up. I have decided to join this challenge and going to do my weigh in on wednesdays, that way I still have to be really careful on the weekends with only three days til weigh in. Beuatiful blocks everyone and good work by all. About 15 years ago I lost 45 lbs by going on a Campbell soup diet and I think that I might try that again.

((((((((HUG)))))))))) this is for you so you can get back on track. You can do it. You just have to make the decision.
    Good luck.

Eating McDonalds does not make a failure. You can eat what every you want. You just have to keep track. Either count points like with Weight Watchers, or count calories. The point is you have to stay under a certain limit. Of course eating veggies, fruit and a healthy diet is the best but if you need a cheese burger or McDonalds you must give up other things during that day.
    But you can do it!!!!
    Don't give up.

I finally have a chance to relax. My DH's brother and his family are in town from Seattle, it's always fun to see them but it means we have to interact with DH's parents. We don't get along with them. We have tried to fix the relationship but they won't budge. They are the kind of ppl that can write a child off and never contact them again.

I haven't done any exercise so I have cut back on the amount of food I eat and so far so good, no weight gain. YAY!!! I am hoping to get back into the exercise routine soon. Infact I lost 5 pounds last month. I probably already posted that but I can't remember. LOL.

Quilting Nana you are such a wonderful positive person and I love the way you motivate each of us. I feel like I have my own Nana here helping me out.

All caught up on my squares. 6 pounds lost in October. You can start to see the cream color hourglass pattern emerging. Nothing else on my design wall at the moment because I have been concentrating on hand quilting and binding some projects. I hope to start cutting something new next week!

    6 complete, 24 to go.

    In October I lost 7 pounds! :)

You're all doing really well - think of a "bad" day of eating as your weekly treat. We're all allowed to splurge at one time or another.

CJ - I'm in the process of cleaning my sewing room, and I think I found fabric with notions.. I'll let you know, it was really late last night when I was cleaning
