I weighed in this morning and I am up just less than a pound. I am very happy with that but now I need to get going on my quilt. I am down a little over 13 pounds with a goal of 30. Let's do this people!

    Mary that is great.

Can you hear my screaming?? I put 12 pounds on since January but it is all my fault for not paying close attention to the scale and what I eat.

You just gave me an idea on how to track my weight lost journey. Making a quilt block for each pound I lost and then putting all the blocks together at the end of my journey is a great idea. I had gastric bypass surgery on November 10, 2010 and so far I have lost 100lbs. My beginning weight was 317lbs.

Come on and be a "Loser" (Weight Lost loser that is)

Carrie, oral steroids do that to me and it takes forever to reach a point where that weight wants to come off. It isn't you. Don't give up. Your body will go back to its normal weigh losing self eventually.

When I told my PCP that I let my orthopedic dr fill my foot with cortisone, he was shocked that I didn't refuse like I do when he mentions pred. You pick your battles. You needed the pred for your breathing, but it done, so hang in there.

I haven't cut my fabric yet. First I didn't like the combo, got that adjusted from my stash, now I need to finish #3 daughter's birthday quilt. Soon it's be my turn. Such is life.

I stepped on the scale this morning and it showed that I lost 2 of those nasty pounds.

Good, Carrie, that means your body is ready to get rid of the 'new' pounds and get back on track. Now I need to stop checking in here and go sew my purple quilt. Not my color, but my daughter loves purple.
