Have you guys seen the new BOM? It is a castles quilt. It started last month, but since I forgot to go on and get the easter BOM pattern I obviously didn't see this one until a month late. Anyways, check it out. It looks cool. You could easily make it for a boy or girl.

I have been collectiong the Easter bom. The Halloween bom started again this month for anyone that is interested or for anyone that might have missed a month or two the first go round. http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/Halloween%20RxR.html

How I remember to get my BOMs is I set an alarm on my phone for a time on the 1st of each month that I KNOW I will be at home, and not busy. For me that time is 9:00pm, by this time the kids are all in bed and I am usually relaxing playing on the computer while my husband watches tv or plays his video games!

I've been collecting Fiesta, the Bunny/Easter one and now the Castle patterns.

If you do miss a month, she does end up selling the pattern and honestly her prices are really good compared to others on the market. I think she also might sell individual missed months if you just need one or two.

Yarn or Fabric

I began the castles - the Halloween one isn't my thing since I am really REALLY not an applique lover - especially if they are cutesy. But the castle one? Yeah, I'm so all over that one. I am hoping to start making them as soon as I can sew for a longer period of time - I'm recovering from a minor foot surgery still and it hurts to hit that gas pedal lol. I think it's time to make friends with that weird knee thing the machine came with....
