Hey there Lisa. I wanted to pop in on this thread and tell you that you can order from us on-line and pick-up your order at the store. That way you save on shipping while still being able to snag all the bargains from the comfort of your computer chair. BTW did you know that the owner of Rocking Chair Quilts shares something with you? Her name is Lisa also. Stop in the shop and say hello sometime, we're in Butler Missouri.

That's true of us, too; you're welcome to order online and stop in to pick up your purchases (and avoid the shipping fee)... or you're welcome to just stop in and shop. We've had the pleasure of meeting a few folks from the QuiltingBoard and hopefully in the future we'll meet more!

I visited! It was fun and I can't wait to come back.

Nancy, how much snow do you have? Hope you don't know anyone stuck in the snow on the highway.

We have about a foot, maybe a little more, at the shop. Two of the gals from "up north" in Cheektowaga were not able to make it in to work today on account of the snow; there's a travel ban there, and in West Seneca, and also South Buffalo. We don't have anyone among our family & friends stuck out on the roads, thankfully!

Apparently we have been just on the southern edge of the snow band, but it's supposed to work its way further south tonight so we might get more. Our fair share, perhaps? And then the ski area should get some. They're the ones who really WANT it! Well, other than the kids, who are hoping for a second day off from school.

Hard to imagine you are getting all that snow. I am only 3 hours away and we haven't seen a flake of snow this year. Can't decide if I'm happy about that or jealous of you. :-)

    Stay safe and warm!

Can't believe nobody has mentioned http://www.thousandsofbolts.com yet; it's my absolute FAVORITE online fabric source!

ADDENDUM: Sorry - just reread and see that one person did mention this site. I've been using them for several years and have never been disappointed with a single thing I've ordered from them.
