Just visited Barnes & Noble today and sat and looked at all their quilting magazines (even one from Australia) and I would have a hard time suggesting one.

My favorites are Better Homes and Gardens and Quilt. Both are excellent magazines with doable patterns.

Quick Quilts really good, has several small projects to do.
Quilt has some easy quilts and usually 15 to 20 patterns in it.

I like Quilt and Quilters World. They have a lot of patterns I like and are pretty easy to do too.

I enjoy Fon's and Porter, but it is a bit advanced in some of the quilts. Their Easy Quilts is nice. Subscribe to McCalls.

I have been subscribing to Quilter's Newsletter for years and it is still my favorite. It always has a variety of quilt projects and articles on new notions. They have a couple of people who write columns each month. Also they test different notions to see which are the best or will work the best for different projects. I also love the magazine that comes from AQS 4 times a year. It has pictures of all the prize winning quilts from their shows. I love to see them even if I can't duplicate them :-D :-D :-D

Well I can't remember which one it is but I like the one that gives the requirements for all different bed sizes or maybe it's more than one magazine that does that. I don't subscribe to any now...just can't afford them when you can download all kinds of free patterns online.

I got QUILTERS NEWLETTER for many years but now I get
THE QUILTER. It looks like it has some nice basic, simple
quilts that one is apt to make. I like it.

What do you mean by half priced books. Do you mean that you go to a used book store?

Half Price Books is a chain of used book stores. :)

glenda5253, I think Love of Quilting is the one you're thinking of that shows different bed sizes. I like that about their magazine, too.
