I have a Bernina 440 QE but for free motion quilting, I use my Mega Quilter by Viking.

Do you have the Mega Quilter with the 9" throat or the 18" mid-arm?

Good Luck !!
I had a very similar experience and would love to get a juki but am stuck with the Viking for a while longer.
Same thing here with the Viking. I had originally bought a Viking Emerald when I started back quilting and sewing after a long hiatus. I had to roll over the big seams by hand and had a hard time sewing a straight line with it. My friend thought she wanted one, so we went and looked at the Sapphires and neither one of us could sew a straight line. I traded in the Emerald.

I also love my Janome 6600P. Purchased it about 6 months ago and am so happy that I did.

I love my Janome 6600p it has a wide harp a needle threader and cutter and the accufeed. I had a problem when quilting that my fabric would bunch but the accufeed solved my problem. I would certainly recomend it.

Last November, I purchased a Brother Innovis 2000 Lauren Ashley sewing machine which has been wonderful. It has a 9 inch plus throat, many, many stitches, auto presser foot rise, etc. I really enjoy sewing with it. It came with about 10 feet and an extended table. Definitely worth checking out.

I love my Janome 6600, I do all my piecing and binding on it with the dual feed, but I still do most of my quilting on my Viking Megaquilter.
