Featherweight

Congratulations! I just got mine a week and a half ago. Mine is a 1949. I had no idea I was supposed to give her a name. Hmmm...
If you are interested, there is a book and DVD to help you maintain your new fw. It is by David McCallum. He is located in Burlington, WA., but has a website at www.Featherweight221.com. I bought both the book and DVD. The book is filled with SO much information! I have yet to watch the DVD. But, it's only been a week and a half! Just fyi. :-D I know repairs and maintenance can get pricey. I also bought a fw sew guide. It will not hurt the finish on your machine and adjusts from 1/8" to 1 1/2". It is super! Happy sewing! :D
