I have recently purchased a Singer Featherweight 221 from Ebay and it is beautiful condition. I want to purchase a 1/4 foot and a new throat plate with the graduated markings on it. Doe's anyone know of a good place to purchase these?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

If you Google search, there are websites with parts.

I think there may be generic 1/4" foot that fits any machine. You just have to get the one for the right shank. You could try JoAnn's or your local sewing machine repair shop.

This site has the throatplate with markings. I will still check with your local repair shop to see if you can save on shipping cost.

I think I saw the 1/4" foot & throat plate on this site:

You want a low shank 1/4 inch foot for the Featherweight. I've ordered from the shop listed above before. They are quick and efficient. There is another shop that also has an ebay store. I think it's called Sew Vac USA. I've also ordered from them before and been pleased.

Congrats on the Featherweight! You'll love it! I've had mine a couple of weeks and am very pleased I bought it.

I have purchased all of my parts & feet on Ebay and saved my gas. The 1/4" foot you want has the black thingy on the side that guides the fabric. I use a janome foot holder and feet on my FW because I like their feet the best.
