    Interesting, I use the supreme slider, and if I forget to drop the dogs, I don't have good stitching and can almost feel a drag, so I'll have to go try this again, because I have heard/read where it is better stitiching results with dogs up. Thanks for mentioning this.

    I am a "dogs down" free motion person. For my machine and my style of quilting, it works. A couple of times I have forgotten to drop the dogs and I spent time fighting my machine and then using my "unstitcher" to pick out the nasty quilting.

    I drop mine, I can't use my feet with them up, my machine knows its the wrong type
