    oh noooo. I have done similar. Now I won't allow any beverages around my sewing area while my stuff is out. I learned my lesson :)

    Yes, sassy!! I did that once with a quilt I was hand quilting. Had to wash it right in the middle of my project but it was fine.

    Were you able to hide the evidence? Can you blame it on the cat? My cat takes blame for a lot of things that happen by accident, and she doesn't tell on me either.

    That is exactly why all my sewing room cups have lids! I found a really cool one at Joanne's. It's clear with a HOT PINK gripper band around it, a screw on top and a heavy duty straw, that has a stir thingy on the end. Looks like a drink cup from a fast food place. It has saved many a project. They have another one for hot beverages too. I highly recommend them! 6 bucks! Three with a coupon :lol:

    I'v done that all over the house only I just drop it so now I use a cup with a closeable top that way I don't spill it in any thing.

    Hope you got the coffee out. If you rinsed them right away, it probably did come out.

    Good thing it was YOUR drink and not your grand-daughter's!

    Oh yes, least it wasn't midnight blue candle wax . yes that is what I spilled on my last almost finished quilt. yikes.
