    Default Feeling kind of Blue~

I just finished this quilt top but it looks really, really blue. Any suggestions to tone it down? Lady wanted a western theme.

Can't really tell from your pic whether you have put borders on. Maybe using some yellow or light orange that are in the quilt would lift it and make it pop!

the only thing i can think of is to put a light colored applique in each dark blue block... lots more work. but what you have done is lovely

I agree with QuiltnNan, some type of applique in the blue squares.

I gather you're not doing it for yourself. You might consult with the recipient. If it were for me, I'd say, "Oh, good! Blue is my favorite color!"

From what I can see, my first impression is of people sitting around a campfire. (Even though I saw only one "person")

I think the suggestion to check with who you are making it for is a good one.

    I like it.

I wouldn't change a thing. I live in the west and the blue reminds me of the western skies. I love the little cowboys.
