    I'm glad to here you're donating not just throwing away. I believe in recycling and using up not throwing out. I tell my kids all the time, I was green before it was cool but we called it poor. The scraps will be put to good use and maybe that was what you were saving them for to begin with (you just didn't know it).

    There's nothing that I like better than a box of scraps. I make scrap quilts all the time and lead our Community Quilts group and we love gifts like yours. Right now we are working on quilts for the newest Habitat for Humanity project in our local area. If you're not scrappy there are many groups who would be delighted with your donation.
