I have a beautiful 221 but rarely used it. Now it is the only machine I have here in Maine. I am used to a 1/4 inch wide foot. Is there a foot fot the featherweight?? I need a lot of practice before I will accurately do a 1/4" allowance just trying to follow the etched line in the plate.

BTW -- I went to a big box store and bought an inexpensive machine for here -- noisy and skipping stitches -- I took it back.

I love the FW but have always used it for classes and general sewing -- so I'm rusty.

    Thanks -- Mim

I just found www.sewingpartsonline.com. They seem to have everything.

I wanted a walking foot for my Singer 15-91. I could not tell which one to buy, so I emailed their customer service, and got a very quick response with a link to a specific foot. Ordered it, got it today and it works!

I think Sew-Classic has super prices and service for just about anything you need for your vintage machines.

Here's the page with the low shank feet including two different types of 1/4" foot:

I think mine is just a generic low shank foot. Maybe Alpha Sew is the brand. I got it at my local repair shop.

had one of those and I loved using it. some how it is missing now. I'd love to have it now to help GD learn to sew.

I'd love to get one myself...last time I looked it was $40! I'll stick with the 1/4" foot for now and save my money for other quilty stuff.
