I have 1 and a half machines, well, 2 and a half if you count my serger.

The one I use for all my day to day stuff is a Kenmore. The "half" machine is a little blue Kenmore that I share with my mother-in-law. It's our spare.

Right now she is actually using it, as her vintage Pfaff got out of whack.

I have a new home that i use quite a bit, a janome in a different room and 2 sergers for "other" sewing and i'm waiting for my new singer. Do you think i need a support group???
I have a singer treadle ( I have it on Craigs's list for sale)
    Singer fatherweight
    Toyota
And my baby Pfaff expression 04.
I bought the Toyota to take to classes but my 10 year old Grand daughter thinks it is hers. She has made 2 quilts so far.

Well, I guess I'm in the middle of this machine-addicted crowd as I "only" have three (and a half) machines:

    1. My mom's trusty 1971 Bernina 730 Record (such a great machine!)
1-1/2. My identical machine that's on loan to my DIL (bought new for $400 -- a small fortune in 1971)
    2. 2000 Bernina 153QE (bought used in 2001 for $1500 specifically for the needle-down and knee-lift features)
    3. 2009 Janome 6600P (bought used for $900 just this month)

I love my 153, but missed all the nice stitches that the 730 had. Greatly coveted the BSR on the newer Berninas, but they were way out of my financial reach. Found the same features I liked in the 153 + more stitch patterns than the 730 + many more "goodies" for less $$ in the Janome. I'm still getting used to it, but hope that it will be my "keeper."

I have 3 black Featherweights and 1 bisque Featheweight machine (they are my investments; when I die someday, 1 featherweight will go to each of my children) I also have Singer I sew and piece with but needs to be retired but I can't seem to find the replacement I want and can afford.

Oh, and I have a small serger somewhere; haven't found it since we moved 7 years ago.

I guess I need to search for it and clean my sewing room too. I have the best of intentions but time isn't always on my side.

I also have three; a Janome for piecing, a Brother for machine quilting and a serger that I have not used in several years and probably would not remember how it works....

No, you're not alone!!! I have a 20-something year old Pfaff 1471 (which I LOVE) - but..... I would really like to have an embroidery machine some day to make my own quilt labels.
