Felt Guilty {scraps}
#1
I was in my lqs on my birthday recently and was told I could get 20% off but as I have a lot I was good and only bought 3 ftq. Now I sure wish I bought some blender fabric.o well next year!lol
Someone posted a scrap string x from quiltville they had made.
I started these blocks and love them. So I`m hoping to use up a lot of scraps.
Those of you who make alot of these quilts do you include xmas fabric. I don`t think I have enough for a xmas quilt but guess Eventualy I would.
Thanks Gale
Camera needs battery but will post later.

I haven't made a quilt like that "YET" but I would think that you could include every fabric scrap type. I love the mixture of every kind of fabric. I remember my little brother had a scrap quilt when he was a baby and I loved looking at that quilt and picking out my favorite fabrics. My idea of fun as a kid......

Scrappy quilts are my favorite kind of quilt, also. I even like looking at the cartoon pictures, of quilts, in children's stories . If there is a bed in the story there always seems to be a nice little colorful quilt on it :D

On the website, it's called nine-patch variation, but it is a disappearing nine patch (d9p).
Hope this helps.

I love using my scraps, from making jounal covers, to the Scrap Surprise I host every year.
I am always adding to my 1 1/2 inch strips for scrappy log cabins. Come in handy when something pops up and I need a gift.

i don't see why you can't use any fabric you have/like, including holiday fabrics. the more the merrier. especially in a scrappy from one another that you hardly see one individual piece anyway. just have fun with it and try not to see "christmas".
