    There are great quilts to make from strips and squares. A log cabin with a 5" sqaure int he center work work welll for the fabric you already have.

    So to do the log cabin, I would divide my fabrics to light/medium and dark for the opposite sides. Is it ok if the log cabin squares are not constructed with the same materials - just the same tones?

    Sorry about the additional questions - but love picking experts minds.
