I am so happy for you! I have my machine in a small bedroom with a large desk and grandkids toys. But I just was able to add a cutting table that folds to narrow size. I can only use half of it due to space but now at least I can cut fabric without killing my back!

Whatever flooring you install, get a telescoping magnet from your local hardware store. They're great for finding and picking up pins, etc. Saves lots of bending!
Yea for getting your own space - I know you'll love it.

Just remember: Walking to the ironing board is free exercise.

Congratulations on your new space! It's so wonderful to have an area that is all your own to retreat to and be able to think and create.

Your next quilt should be done several hours faster now that you won't have to run to the ironing board. Those short trips usually had detours for me-
