    Her name is.....Ruby.

    That is my grandmother's first name and the name of my Great Aunt, who filled the gap when I lost my grandmother at age 18.

    I know you'll love sewing on Ruby. My daughter gave me a 1953 Featherweight about 6 weeks ago. I am so enjoying sewing on it! Yesterday, I finished the first quilt that I pieced on it. I did the FMQ on my Bernina; but I'll be making all of my quilt tops on the Singer 221. By the way, the quilt I made on the Featherweight is for my aunt's 103rd birthday next week. She was excited when she learned that most of it was done on a 1953 Singer sewing machine.
