Take your time going through your stash, although I don't know how you could have put it away for an entire year, you will feel like a kid in a candy store. Well, actually, now that I think about it we moved over 1 1/2 years ago and I'm just getting to re-sorting some of my totes. Imagine my surprise when I opened a tote and found not one, but two BOM kits, with all the fabric to make the blocks, plus I found a set of 12 hand-sewn blocks, done in the 8-pointed star black with navy points and a fussy cut flower in the middle. I barely remember making them, but now I have to find some navy sashing so I can make a quilt. I was going to say that makes 3 quilts with all fabrics ready to put together, but I just remembered that I purchased a quilt kit with a cat and kitten theme that I barely remember buying, but had put aside for another day. Guess that "another day" should be coming sooner rather than later. Enjoy going through your stash, it will feel like you have won the fabric lottery. Enjoy.
