EAA= Experimental Aircraft Association. Every year they have a HUGE gathering of planes in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It lasts a week and you can see every type of plane you can imagine. My husband picks up lots of information. I pick up free stuff and do lots of people watching. I do enjoy going. We always go out to dinner and hit quilt shops on the way home.

    Red face Congratulations!

I am planning on retiring the end of June 2014. I can't wait. I plan to do the same thing you are going to do. Learn how to quilt and sew. I can't wait. Keep us posted on retirement and your quilting.

Hooray for you! Retirement is a wonderful time of sleeping in and doing a lot of what you feel like doing. Some people find it difficult not to have a routine and so they build their own new routine. Others like myself love not having to be obligated to be someplace at a particular time. Some of us haven't had this kind of freedom since we were kids. I feel like I'm "Free a Last". Hope it will be all you have expected.
