About 15 years ago I made a pink and blue one for a 50th anniversary and enjoyed every stitch. I still enjoy it every time I see it. Treasure your treasures!

That quilt is beautiful ! I have hand pieced and hand quilted two of the double wedding ring quilts in the past. There are lots of work, in piecing one of them. You sure did get a bargain..... Here is a link to one of the quilts that I made for a 50th wedding present

I am also afraid to try this pattern, but love the looks of this classic quilt. One day I'll get up my nerve.

My husband's grandmother made 4 of that pattern; one for each of her grandchildren. We have the only one left. It is so beautiful and such a great family treasure.

It's beautiful and in such good shape for it's age! It certainly went to the right home...
