I'm going to tomorrow when the hubby is home, so that I can go sans children. I need to find some background fabric for one of my quilt alongs and I might pick up the batting for it since it's on sale and there's the extra 10% off coupon as well. We'll see.

I went on my way home Friday night. Bought 8 yds of Warm and White, 40% off batting on the bolt, plus my 20% all purchases coupon. If I had space to store more, I'd have purchased more of it. The LQS where I have some of my LA done does not have batting by the bolt (no space!), so you either bring your own in or have to by the packaged stuff - which is a lot more expensive, especially at their prices.

Normally, I use Warm and Natural, but it really seemed to have a lot of stuff beyond the normal "flecks" in it. Almost like pieces of the stalk, very woody. Has anyone else noticed this?

I went to the one in Columbia yesterday. It was quiet as well. I did get a pair of small pair of singer scissors and a couple of strings of beads.

I have the flying geese ruler and love it!
I bought a new Fiskars a few weeks ago and really like it. It's light green on one side and yellow on the other. Both sides have the grid marks. Only downfall is how they numbered it. Along the bottom is correct 1-36 but along the side they went from 24 up to 1 -- opposite of what we need. I'm sure it's a design flaw but I just took a permanent marker and marked my #s along the side from 1-24 (hope this makes sense).

    Also no smell.

Didn't see a white one - who makes it?

I went on Friday but only got what I needed for a special project. I did pick up some needles at 50% so bought 2 packs.

Also bought that special magazine for $2.99 that has those great coupons on the back...well worth the price if you can find it. It sells out fast.

I went to the Joann in Boardman, Ohio. I stocked up on sewing machine needles at 50% off, new blades for my Olfa cutter, and 25% off quilting fabrics. By the time I got there yesterday, there was not one red tag fabric that caught my eye. Oh, well. Hubby wants to go eat Chinese in Cranberry Twp in PA, with some friends tonight. Lucky they have a Joann ETC there, too!! I have to take a few minutes to look at reg tag fabrics!!
