    Default Patchwork Teddy Bear

I have a Finnish magazine pattern for one made with 1" (finished) HSTs. First you make your fabric with these HSTs, cut out your (any) paeetern and sew. I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture of the Teddy. Nalle means Teddy Bear in Finnish.

That came out adorable. I keep saving the scraps from the outside dresses for the dolls for sick kids, so it is a case of finding time and making the material tones fit together, then finding the pattern and sewing it all together. A friend is sending me some bunny and bear patterns, so hopefully i can make it all work. Thanks so much. I like the way you arranged this. May I save your photo and use it? I'll put it on my desktop till I hear from you. I'd put Hevemi from Finland as a photo credit if you wish. It sure is cute. Thanks

Hancock Fabrics will have their McCall patterns on sale in a few days for 99 cents. I like the Carol's zoo teddy bear pattern I found, so I guess I'll wait for the sale.

Here are a couple of bears that I am currently working on, the one on the left is made from an old chenille bedspread, picked up at a local thrift shop for $1.50, only the edges of the bedspread were in great shape, and the one on the right is made using Patiently stitched garden fabric, the mother of the new great grandchild we are expecting doesn't like pink, therefore the purple dress on the right hand side bear.....thanks for looking - best of luck Gladys
