    Magnificent! How will you quilt it besides 1/4 inch around inside the "blades"? I have an antique Dresden Plate that I am restoring. I am re-doing the needle turn applique. The 1930's pink and green background color is bleeding and turning dark.

    I am stumped on a quilting design for it. Any ideas? Yours is beautiful!

    I think the best would be diagonal lines from both sides forming a grid. I dont know how it is properly called, hope you know what I mean.
    Thought of echoquilting but because of the different shapes ot plates and stars I dont know how it would look like and a pattern seams too much to me.
    I am very open for suggestions also
