Still quite a newbie to quilting I do not have a "style" yet. I only know that at the time I got the patches ready for the seminole border, I had goosebumps! All this lovely prints against the crisp off white background fabric - could have looked at it for ever without sewing them together.................

i love traditional patterns and this is just beautiful. are the stars and plates needleturned? and how long did it take you to make the top? how large are the blocks? i don't think i ever saw dresden plates on point before. lovely. beautiful work and the white makes it really stand out. applause!!

Yes they are needleturned and a plate took me about five hours ( times 16) and the stars about 3.5 hours (times 15) and after that I lost track....... the seminole border was quite easy, adding the border to the quilt a bit difficult as it was all on bias and had to kept square.
I would love to have such a chess watch. Whenever you start to work you push the button......
As much as I would like to know how much I spend on piecing I get carried away and at the end I have to guess.
The blocks are 15.5 inch square

I just started making Dresden Plates...never did it before and finally found the ruler at Joann's. It's going to be busy because I found it's a great way to use the scraps up in the my basket so I just grab and add....
