No, we sell tickets when the ladies register and the money is for our junior golfers. All the ladies of course want to win the quilt, so we manage to sell quite a few tickets. I believe this is the 6th year that I have donated a quilt for our tournament. We sell the tickets at $1.00 a ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00.

Just curious -the border AND stripes/stars were all done with QST's?

Was that how the directions were written or is this an original pattern?

The layout is so bold. I really, really like it.

It's my own. I just took the idea for the star pattern, made it smaller and then continued with hst in blues, red, whites. It is a 10" block, right sides together, cut diagonal twice, then when you sew the two different colors together, trim your blocks to 6 1/2". The rest is just putting it together.
