I would only add another border if you want it larger. It is beautiful!

I love the quilt the way it is but I also saw one similiar to this that had a branch with leaves appliques across the quilt not much just a single branch with a few leaves, just like in pictures where they keep a branch up close in pictures to give it a bit of OOMMPH,

If you want a drop, add more blocks, sides and bottom, quilt and bind. If you have more of same materials used. It is lovely the way it is.

I love it..the only thing you could spark it a little if your outside..dark border.. was a little bigger it would make the 2 inner ones pop..but it's fine the way it is!!

I think it is beautifull as is and it sounds perfect for your DIL. However if you do need a drop on it I would decide on the size of the drop needed, divide it by 3 and repeat the borders you alread have. I hope this helps.

I think a wider border would balance it. The green would be good. Otherwise, lovely quilt.

I agree with the others that it doesn't need sparkle, but if you need to add a border for a drop, I would go with the yellow or green, either one would give you the added drape that you are looking for and not overpower the simple beauty of your quilt. Good luck deciding

What a beautiful quilt - I love it the way it is, but if you really want to add another border - I would love a pop of red

It is lovely but I think it needs a wider border to finish it. JM2C
