First Embroidery Class
Had my first embroidery class today on my Bernina 640. Had the machine for 4 years and just added the embroidery module. An expensive hobby! But what fun. I made lace bookmarks and learned how to appliqué on a towel. Didn't realize what I was missing and needed to concentrate on the longarm first. Highly recommend the 640 or 630 Bernina. So easy to work with. Crazy thing even cuts the thread at the right time for the next step and the quality of the stitching was fabulous. Nope not a dealer just a fan. Welcome to the world of embroidery = I have the 830 and absolutely love it. For the last 4-5 months I've been sewing every day. I'm thinking of getting a Bernina 350 to take to classes since the 830 is so big. My machine is getting tuned up as we speak and I've certainly missed having it around! I was going to patch jeans yesterday - no machine! I think it will come home tomorrow. Hooray!!
