Looks & sounds like you have been bitten by the quilting bug. That is one beautiful block. Keep up the good work. You will get to the point that, everywhere you go, you will be seeing quilt blocks everywhere then you will know you are a fanatic just like the rest of us.

I hope to enjoy it! Though I don't think I want to make large ones. Because I'm kind of one of those "start a project an unless I really want it, and loose interest, it will never get done." kind of people. I wanted to do doll quilts and table runners and stuff like that. need to look up patterns for that.

Pretty block. Keep up the good work.
I own a 778 from 36 yrs ago. it sat mostly idle while i worked, but has been overworked since i started quilting in 2009. I took it to machine DR for review & tune up then once lost a bobbin screw. I love this machine. My DH cleans and oils insides about 3 times per year since. As long as it is clean & fed regularly it keeps on working. I have not heard of very many other people with this machine.

It's a really pretty start. Good luck on getting done by Christmas. Really, I don't mean that like I don't think you can do it, I mean - good luck. I haven't tackled paper piecing yet, so I don't know if it makes it easier or not.
