Lookie Lookie what I made for Quilts for kids. This turned out so cute and was super easy!!!
Quilts for kids sent me one kit to make for them and they sent me funky monkey kit and the fabric is from Robert Kaufman. It only took me a couple hours from start to finish.
I have a friend that goes to my sewing group, that has a friend that machine quilts and the lady is going to do it for free for me since it is for a good cause. ;). And that friend is going to furnish the low loft batting for it. So actually it will be a 3 some endeavor. :)
Only thing that bothered me was this fabric frayed ALOT!! I was really surprised. But I made it work. I'm so proud of how it turned out. I took this picture with my cell phone, it does not do the quilt any justice. And I have the quilt tucked under a few things on my freezer so its draped down so I can get the whole picture.

Beautiful work - I just completed one using that same pattern. It was a real quick pattern to do - I'm definitely going to use it again.

    Great work - great cause.

I am soooooooo disappointed. I texted this picture to my sister in Washington and she texted me back and said that one of the rows IS BACKWARDS. I can't do anything about it now as shes already quilting it. Dang it I wish I would have seen that BEFORE she started quilting it. I hope that Quilts for Kids isn't the quilt police and choses not to accept it. That would break my heart if they did that. Should I send a letter explaining it or just not fret over it and see if they notice it. I really do feel bad about it. Oh dear!!!!
