First Snow
Anyone here doing this quilt along? http://www.quiltersnewsletter.com/ch...es-quilt-along
I am having fun as it goes from July thru October. I look forward to a new block each Tuesday. Would love to know others are also making it. We could post pictures. I am doing mine with a gray background that looks like snow. My houses are all red. I am making mine look more a winter rather than a Christmas quilt, then I can keep it out all winter. We live in CA and don't get much snow or rain for that matter so I like thinking about snow, icicles, snowmen, sleds, etc. It keeps me cool. I am having fun embellishing each block as I go. We off to paper piece this week's house.

It has been fun. I have done the 4 houses in the order that is shown on the full quilt. Would love to see yours as you go to. I will take my pictures, send them to myself so I can access them on my computer and post them tomorrow. I am making mine more winter and not Christmas so now I am on a mission to find fun ways to make it seem like winter, I say as it is 90+ outside. Hope you join me michelleoc.
