Don't feel bad. I once got my hair cut really, really short. My son met me coming up the stairs from the basement; took one look and said, "Oh, gross!" He was a teenager at the time. People either loved that haircut or hated it!

At least it is only your quilt that is bumpy. One of my grandchildren asked me the other day. Grandma...why do you have so many wrinkles on your skin? All I could say was...because I am old. God lov'em..

That's funny! At least it was from somebody you couldn't get mad at, because he's so innocent about it. My six-yr-old great-niece just asked me to eat a different cereal and go to the gym, because I'm gaining too much weight!

Most of the time he would be right. But last week at a quilt store, I saw a quilt that had the seams on the top side of quilt and saw a fan pattern with everyother blade flipped to the "wrong side." So He knows what he likes. I think I would be with him.

Sometimes I think "tact" is overrated!! I could always count on my kids to not let me leave the house looking awful. I always felt blessed for that!!
