I love paper piecing. Yes, it's messy, and it's time consuming if you do one block at a time. If I'm making all the same pattern, I figure out how many total blocks I'll need and make that amount of copies plus maybe 10 extra at one time, then I work on maybe 8 or 10 blocks at a time, working on the same number on all the blocks, then press all the blocks at one time, then go back and continue on in that way. This way, I see a lot more progress and I'm not jumping up to press every couple of seconds. I'm sure that you'll get more suggestions from others that have found what works for them. If you try the suggestions out, you'll probably find a method that works best for you, or maybe a combination of methods.
