I think it is absolutely beautiful. Great colors to go with the gorgeous print. Not all quilt need or should have bright colors.

I like it just the way it is. For quilting, I think it would be fine with an all-over meander or loop.

Thanks everyone.. I was thinking of doing the 1/4 inch stitch, I had done it on another quilt, and like how it turned out.

I don't think it is ugly. My opinion is that the sashing was much too wide in proportion of the size of the blocks. Quilting depends if your using a sewing machine, I would just stitch in the ditch and then do FMQ in the larger squares. Please always keep in mind that with all the disasters that occur, someone in need would find it so rewarding to receive this quilt.

I like your top. I dont think it;s ugly. As for quilting. Are you hand quilting. If not-maybe just stippling all over it. Would like to see it when you get it done.

Not ugly at all. Soft and pretty. I would do an all over design.

OK I think that by now you realize that all of us don't think that this is ugly. This is a very pretty quilt. Not sure how it should be quilted but I would love to see it when it is finished. I am sure that there are quite a few people that would love to receive a quilt as pretty as this one. I think that you did a good job on it. BrendaK

I agree with ManiacQuilter2 -- the sashing is overpowering the quilt. You can change the whole look of it by how you decided to quilt it. Sorry, don't have any suggestions for that.

Isn't it funny how so many different people like different things? That's what makes the world go around! I don't think it's ugly at all.

I feel your pain. I am ripping apart one now because I feel the same way about it. If I am not happy now, I don't think I will be later and it is easier to rip before I quilt it.
